“Make a Promise” – A Celebration of Bond and Care

On 7th August, as part of our Make a Promise campaign, we celebrated the bond of love and care at Indrayani Cancer Hospital, Alandi with children bravely fighting cancer.

The day began with a storytelling session by Jayati Bhave, where laughter, giggles, and wonder filled the room. We watched children’s eyes light up and their smiles grow as they immersed themselves in her tales.

Later, the children crafted their own promise bands from origami flowers and ribbons — symbols of love, hope, and togetherness for their loved ones.

Our goal was to give children and their families a moment of joy amidst their challenges. When we heard that some children laughed for the first time in months, we knew this event was truly special and that we were on the right path.
